Keeping Colorado Economically Competitive: Common Sense Institute    NEW!

Will be recorded.  Colorado has become ground zero for public policy proposals that shape national politics. Learn more about the key proposed policies that will impact your life the most. Colorado's competitiveness as a top economy and place to live is challenged because job creators have been hit with an onslaught of new taxes, fees, and regulations (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDHsFl-mjNI). These new costs are building as many businesses in our state are struggling to stay open and create the jobs we urgently need. Will Colorado recover as quickly as it did in the last recession and once again lead the way? Common Sense Institute's (CSI) mission is to provide a nonpartisan examination of the fiscal impacts of policies, initiatives, and proposed laws so that Coloradans can be educated and informed. CSI employs rigorous research techniques and dynamic modeling to evaluate the potential impact of these measures on the Colorado economy and individual opportunity.
