Intro to Oil Painting for Absolute Beginners

Have you ever wanted to paint in oils, but weren’t sure how to begin? What type of canvas should you use? What brushes or paints? What other tools might you need? How do you apply oil paints? Do you need to add more oil? And the list goes on. This class will introduce you to the fundamentals and show you how to begin your journey into oil painting. The first class will be a discussion of tools and methods. From that you can get a shopping list of minimal supplies to prepare for painting on week two. So come and enjoy a no-stress intro for absolute beginners.
