This course is designed for those who have taken Beginning Watercolor, who desire to move on to the next level, or who simply desire a time and space in which to paint with others and "keep their brushes wet." Students help select the topics for the course from a list of over 30 possibilities. The goal is to have fun, experiment, and grow as an artist. Topics include everything from composition, connecting whites, backgrounds, skies and water, and painting with passion, to color theory. Anyone is also welcome to paint independently, and the instructor will offer individual guidance. Classes include a lesson and time for painting, with instructor assistance, all in a creative, supportive environment with other artists. Most classes include an instructor demonstration of the topic. Friendly critiques are part of this class.
