Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga consists of gentle movements that encourage better circulation, reduce stiffness, increase energy, improve strength, enhance flexibility, and improve balance. This class uses a chair for additional support, comfort, and safety. Most of the exercises are done while sitting, leaning, or holding on to a chair.

Chair Yoga is a gentle yet effective practice designed to enhance circulation, reduce stiffness, boost energy, and improve strength, flexibility, and balance. This class focuses on full-body movement to promote extensive lymphatic drainage by engaging almost all muscles. Using a chair for support, comfort, and safety, most exercises are performed while sitting, leaning, or holding onto the chair. Mild breathwork is incorporated to stimulate the neuroendocrine glands while enhancing the circulatory and respiratory functions. The session concludes with the deeply restorative body-scanning technique of Yoga Nidra, fostering deep relaxation and inner calm.
