Creative Collage - (incl mat'l)
This is a Family Saturday class. Adults and students aged 10-17 attend together. Matisse called it “painting with scissors.” We will study Eric Carle as a starting point and how he uses collage as a form of illustration. We will first, create a multitude of beautiful papers (using acrylic paint, rice paper, brushes, stamps and rollers); then, trace an image (pre-drawn or found); and last, cut and glue the needed shapes to create a vision of wonder--truly.
