iPad/iPhone Step 1

New user with an iPhone or iPad (or both)? No worries! This is the class for you. Learn to use your new iDevice like a seasoned professional. Sessions will cover both hardware and software. When it comes to hardware, there’s more to those simple buttons than meets the eye - each has several different uses. When it comes to iPhone software (call iOS), we’ll cover all the basics. How to use the phone with all the finger-touch gestures, taps and swipes. We’ll dive deep into the Settings control panel, sound and video settings, multi-tasking and more. When it comes to apps, we’ll cover the App Store, downloading, installing and removing apps. We’ll cover Siri and cover a “Top 10” list of favorite, useful Siri functions. Class will also cover the basic productivity apps that come “baked into” the iPhone, Calendar, Contacts, Reminders, Notes and others.
