What distinguishes a good speaker from a great speaker, an interesting one from an inspirational one? Learn and practice the art of persuasive oratory in this class designed for individuals who desire to enhance their current skills and experience with public speaking. Through class exercises and speaking assignments, you will evaluate the value of rhetorical appeal, learn the effective use of stylistic devices, and further develop your individual style and delivery, building on existing strengths and addressing perceived weaknesses.
