French for Travelers (inc language map)  

If you are planning a trip to a French-speaking country, this class will help give you the communication skills you will need for practical, everyday situations. We will study proper pronunciation and vocabulary for ordering in restaurants, asking for directions, meeting people, hotel reservations, train stations, airports, telling time, and so on. In a fun, relaxed atmosphere, gain the confidence you will need to express yourself & enjoy your trip. Required textbook: Schaum's Communicating in French by Conrad J. Schmitt. Please bring a notebook & folder to class.
