Mosaic Basics (incl mat'l)

Explore the ancient art of mosaics in this 4-week beginning course where you'll create a one-of-a-kind mosaic ready for framing. Use a design from your imagination or be inspired by a book or magazine illustration. You'll learn how to use the proper tools for cutting and shaping stained glass, or you can use precut glass tiles. You'll also learn about adhesives and grout. All tools and a selection of stained glass, tile, and other materials provided for use in class for your first 8x10 mosaic. You can personalize your mosaic, if you like, by bringing in objects such as castoff costume jewelry, beads, shells, or other objects. No experience necessary.
