Cut the Cable Cord: Streaming Internet Movies & TV

Internet streaming services are a recent alternative to cable TV for watching some TV channels, shows, movies, and documentaries on your TV set, laptop, or tablet/iPad. Connect internet devices to your existing HD TV. Understand streaming channels such as AppleTV, AmazonTV, Curiosity Channel, Netflix, Hulu, VuDu, Roku, and SlingBox. Compare streaming costs to current Cable TV (Comcast, Verizon FiOS, or Brighthouse). Show family photos on your TV, as well as understand wifi, the “cloud," and "VOIP" to minimize possible loss of internet and 911 emergency calls, especially in a storm.
