ONLINE: A Crash Course in American Sign Language   

This six week course in American Sign Language is designed to help those who want to learn brief, conversational ASL. If you frequently encounter deaf people through your work, have a deaf neighbor, or would just like to learn sign language in a short amount of time, this is the class for you! No prior knowledge of ASL is required for this class.

Topics:
Week 1 Intro to ASL - ABCs & 123s - how to introduce yourself
Week 2 Family signs - asking ’ wh—’ questions - social media signs
Week 3 Food & drink signs - signs around the home - colors
Week 4 Animal signs - sports signs
Week 5 Work signs - medical signs
Week 6 Local Florida signs - review

 

ONLINE: A Crash Course in American Sign Language   Class already in session...it is possible that the teacher may allow a late registration.  Please call the office at 941-361-6590.
