Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera proved to be the ultimate "love match.” Their passion for art, politics and each other fueled a lifelong melodrama of expression. He single-handedly revived the laborious art form of Fresco—a medium that had been forgotten for over 300 years. She became an international phenomenon as a female artist creating work in the realm of Surrealism and psychological portraiture. Her early works will be featured in this presentation.
