If you have ever just fallen in love with a building then this course about Architectural Photography might be something just for you! Join photographer Janet Combs for a walk around downtown Sarasota as we look north, south, east and west at some of the beautiful - and not so beautiful - architecture that surround us. In the first week we will talk about architectural photographers who have come before us and made their name by shooting buildings in a way that will make you take a second look. Please bring your widest angle lens or a fisheye or wide angle lens. For the first class please research one architectural photographer of your choice and bring a link to one image from that artist. While in the field classes we will be photographing the very same buildings in the City of Sarasota that you see every day - but guaranteed that you are looking at them from a new angle.
