Tour of the Save Our Seabirds Wild Bird Education Center (incl admission - transportation not provided)

Save Our Seabirds (SOS) Wild Bird Learning Center is a nonprofit wildlife conservation and education organization located on the former site of the Pelican Man Bird Sanctuary on City Island in Sarasota. The mission of SOS is to rescue, rehabilitate, and release injured birds and to educate the public about nature and environmental sustainability. Birds that have been rescued but are unable to be returned to the wild are given permanent homes in the Wild Bird Learning Center. On this guided tour, led by Robert Gaglio, a longtime board member, you will see more than 150 birds that reside at this amazing facility and a lovely native Florida plant garden.
