Day Tripping via Blue COW Bus  

Outings are full- or half-day field trips around Northwest, Central and Southwest Florida. We generally use a charter bus for full-day trips, and the Blue COW bus for shorter ones. Topics have both educational and entertainment value. Reservations are on a first-come basis. Please register before the cut-off dates. We look forward to having you join us.

We will ride the Classroom On Wheels (COW) Blue School Bus to this remote site. You will be outside, so come prepared for the weather. Please bring a bottle of water, sunscreen, hat or visor, and insect repellent. You will be walking on shell/gravel paths and grass, so wear comfortable shoes. Our payment to the Reserve will be a donation toward their operation. Bring snacks. There will not be a meal stop for this trip.

The bus will leave from the Suncoast Technical College campus, located at 4748 Beneva Road. Enter the campus off Proctor Road main entrance and turn left. The bus will be parked in front of the south side of Building 3 (where ACE classes are held).

Register early to avoid disappointment as classes will fill up quickly!
