Boating - Offered by Sarasota Power & Sail Squadron

“Red, right, return” – that’s how boaters remember which side of the channel they should stay on. Learn memory joggers such as this and a lot more in safe boating classes taught by the Sarasota Power and Sail Squadron. You’ll learn about weather conditions, how to read maps, boating etiquette, and emergency procedures. Some courses include “on water” maneuvering sections as well – everything you need to safely enjoy the area’s beautiful waterways.
