Sewing & Quilting

In a day and age of mass production, isn’t it nice to slow down sometimes and make something by hand? If you’ve ever admired a hand-made garment or baby quilt and thought you’d like to try your hand at making one of your own, we’ve got just the ticket: Our sewing and quilting classes are small, instructors are patient, and the results are so worth it! Make a special heirloom to pass down through the generations.

Supplies to bring: Fabric shears, pins & pincushion, seam/sewing gauge, tape measure, and seam ripper. If you have your own machine, please bring it so you can learn exactly how your machine works.

Supplies & equipment needed: Rotary cutter with fresh blade, Clips or clothes pins, Needle - pkg of #14/80, Ruler - 24”x 8.5”, Thread - neutral color, Batting - crib size -Warm & Natural brand, Sewing machine in working order or use one of ACE’s, Fabric for project- please buy after first class.
