If you already have any of these materials, no need to duplicate. If you can find them cheaper, by all means, please save money.
Working surface: 1 Pad Canvas Paper 9"x12" or 11"x14"
or you may use canvas boards 8"x10" or 9"x12".
Brushes: Short or Long Handled Brushes. A small , medium, and large brush size is fine.
Flat for large, Angle for medium, and a Round for small.
Paint: Any Student Grade Acrylic Paint is fine. An example of one I like: (Liquitex Brand Tubes)

Supplies: Canvas or canvas board in sizes you like; Small container of Matt gel medium & Gloss fluid medium (Liquitex Basics or Master’s Touch Brand is fine), Scissors, Variety of collage papers in colors you like (Michaels or Hobby Lobby). A cheap chip brush or silicone spatula (Dollar Store) to apply acrylic mediums, and whatever acrylic paints and brushes you already have. (Small acrylic paint sets of up to 12 colors will work).

1) Paints – Liquitex Heavy Body or Golden brand. Do NOT buy Artist Loft brand, Liquitex Basics, or Hobby Lobby brand (any off brand). Colors will not mix accurately with off-brand paints.
Titanium White, Payne’s Gray, Burnt Umber, Burnt Sienna,Yellow Ochre, Cadmium Yellow Medium, Cadmium Yellow light (optional),Naples Yellow, Cadmium Red Medium,Cadmium Red Light (optional), Alizarin Crimson, Ultramarine Blue (Green Shade), Phthalocyanine Blue (Green Shade), Hooker’s Green or Sap Green, Phthalocyanine Green (Blue Shade), Dioxazine Purple, Vivid Red Orange Light (optional).

3) View Finder – we will discuss this at the first class
4) Palette – Recommended Masterson with sponge, lid and paper set or
large palette paper pad
5) Brushes: Selection of Rounds, Filberts and Flats (will discuss).
Do not buy craft brushes.
6) Canvas Pad – Canvas sheet pad, 16x20. Be sure this is canvas sheets and not canvas
paper. This is for learning techniques and practicing on.
7) Canvas – Flat panels or stretched canvas, 16x20 or smaller, approximately 2 for
duration of class.
8) Small spray bottle – fill with water
9) Water container
