Supplies: Bring to first class a 6”x6” canvas or canvas panel, palette paper, a pack of assorted acrylic paintbrushes (acrylic Royal & Langnickle brush set from Walmart or Amazon), acrylic paints: a set of 12 -24 colors (Liquitex Basics or similar brand), scissors, collage papers and old magazines, Matt gel medium, gloss fluid medium, and an inexpensive chip brush or silicone spatula (Dollar Tree) for applying acrylic mediums. Also bring an assortment of xeroxed photographs you are thinking of using. We will discuss techniques during the 1st class

This open studio welcomes anyone who enjoys creating art. Your chosen medium may be anything you like, from acrylics, to oils, charcoal, graphite, colored pencils and more. One-on-one help is available and group critiques will be encouraged. Please bring any materials that you would like to work with as well as the painting/drawing surface of your choice.

Supplies: (1) 10” x 20” canvas; (2-3) 11” x 14” canvases or canvas board.” Small container of Matt gel medium & Gloss fluid medium (Liquitex Basics or Master’sTouch Brand is fine), Scissors, Variety of collage papers in colors/designs you like (Michaels or Hobby Lobby). A cheap chip brush or silicone spatula (Dollar Store) to apply acrylic mediums, and whatever acrylic paints and brushes you already have. We will discuss portrait colors during our first class.
