Are you looking to try your hand at pottery? ACE’s air-conditioned clay studio features 13 wheels. Best of all, we have patient, experienced instructors ready to help students of any level — beginner to advanced — refine your technique. Come work in our supportive environment and experience why this medium is so addicting! Learn the wheel, focus on handbuilding and sculpture or try a little of both. Drop-in studio times are offered several times per week for those currently registered in a ceramics class.
Unless noted, each class includes up to 25 lbs. of clay. Additional clay is available for purchase. All clay and glazes must be provided by ACE (no outside clay or glazes allowed).
ACE is a teaching pottery studio, not a production studio. The firing schedule and quantities are controlled by the Lab Technician who manages firings for all ACE ceramics classes. There are size limits on pieces due to kiln size.
The maximum length of a single piece is 20 inches wide and 24 inches tall.
