•Each coaster uses less than 15yds/10g of yarn to make. Cotton yarn is suggested, look for brands like Bernat Maker or Caron All Day Cotton
•I (5.5 mm) crochet hook

Supplies Students Should Bring:
•    Crochet hook: Bring the hook size recommended for your chosen yarn. A 4.0–5.5 mm hook is a good general range. If you want a thicker shawl or blanket, you can use 6mm hook.
•    Yarn: Students may choose:
        One solid color for a simple, classic look, or
        multiple colors to create a colorful pattern or combination.
        Yarn quantity: Approximately 1,000–1,500 yards of medium-weight yarn (depending on the project size and yarn type).
•    Scissors
•    Yarn/tapestry needle for weaving in ends
•    Stitch markers — helpful for keeping track of stitches and pattern sections
•    Measuring tape or ruler — optional but useful for checking the size of your project

Class Description & Learning Objectives:
•Skill Level: Beginner to Advanced Beginner.
Must know how to:
•Create a slip knot and chaining.
•Single crochet (SC) and double crochet (DC) stitches.
Will learn finishing techniques: Weaving in ends.

– Caron Cotton Cake in the colorway of your choice (light is better). You’ll need about 350 yds of yarn if you decide to use another worsted-weight cotton yarn for this project
