Mosaics   

Please check with the ACE office to see if the class has met the required number of students prior to purchasing your materials.

Supplies: 

Good paper scissors, white (PVA) glue such as Elmer's, Mod Podge or other non-yellowing glue for a finishing coat (Mod Podge can also be used as a glue), some colorful paper, and a couple of canvas boards 5x7 size or larger. Liquitex Matte Medium can also be used both as a glue and as a finishing coat. Other supplies, such as tweezers, brayer (rolling pin), X-acto knife, parchment paper or wax paper, and various paper punches, are optional.

Supplies: *Wooden substrates of choice, fancy tiles, ceramic shapes, or glass (if desired), mosaic tools for cutting glass (if desired), box top lid for storage of class materials. Optional: Wheeled Nippers. 

*Although most basic supplies are provided for this course, students are encouraged to bring in their own bases for their art. Various bases will be discussed in class as well as where to purchase additional supplies to augment the students’ creations.

 

Supplies: Bring glue and other consumables, your planned substrate, and any specialized materials you need for your project. Scrap glass and donated tile and china are all available for your use, as well as tools and equipment in the Studio. Bring a container or box top lid for materials storage.
