Mosaics   

*Please check with the ACE office to be sure the class has met its minimum before purchasing material(s).
Supplies: *Wooden substrates of choice, fancy tiles, ceramic shapes, or glass (if desired), mosaic tools for cutting glass (if desired), box top lid for storage of class materials. Optional: Wheeled Nippers. 

*Although most basic supplies are provided for this course, students are encouraged to bring in their own bases for their art. Various bases will be discussed in class as well as where to purchase additional supplies to augment the students’ creations.

Learn all about mosaics while making some fun projects for your house and garden, such as whimsical garden signs, colorful pots, stepping stones, coasters, and door stops. We use glass tile, china, marbles, and all kinds of odd objects such as old costume jewelry, shells, keys, beads, coins, tokens, and toys. Bring any personal items to use in your mosaics to make it uniquely yours. Beginners always welcome!
