Are you ready to pound the pavement in search of Sarasota's local flavor and characters? If so, please join us for a workshop in downtown Sarasota where we will observe and photograph the genre of Street Photography. We will discuss ethics, legalities and composition and work with our manual controls with respect to shutter speed, aperture and ISO. Patience, attention to detail and quick thinking are skills that we will develop along with quickly capturing photographic opportunities in public spaces.
For trips in the field please wear sturdy walking shoes and bring water and an umbrella. And, of course, don't forget your camera!
Meeting spot will be emailed ahead of class. The first 1/2 hour will be a lecture with a question and answer session. We will then walk around and photograph. Using a FLICKR account the instructor will provide feedback to each student after photos are uploaded.

Some computer skills are recommended for this class. Instructor will go over all the basics of Adobe programs. If you can install programs and remember your password, that’s more than enough.
Please bring your images on memory cards, jump drives or portable hard drives.
