Integrated Skills Level 3

This course will introduce students to key ideas, concepts and customs in American culture as well as current events that are happening locally, nationally and internationally. In this content based course, students will improve their English abilities in all basic skill areas covered on language exams such as the TOEFL or IETLS and those necessary to succeed in college classes. Classroom work will include reading texts and articles, listening to presentations and lectures, as well as summarizing, expressing and supporting their opinions in both writing and speaking on the various topics covered in class.
