Writing Levels 4-5   

Following placement testing, students will be placed in the appropriate level of this course (4 or 5).

This course will help improve students' basic writing skills through use of the writing process and different types of writing styles from paragraph writing to essay writing. Students learn to write effective sentences in the organization and writing of clear, focused simple paragraphs as well as short essays or research papers (depending on level). Students will become familiar with the writing process to develop fluency, clarity, organization, expression, and grammatical accuracy with a focus on building their editing skills.
