- Beginning Tai Chi

Why should I learn Tai Chi? Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese martial art and a form of moving meditation, defense and exercise. It has both martial and health aspects and is practiced by millions in China and throughout the world. Tai Chi is also a discipline and a way of life, and introduces focus, balance, harmony, flexibility and yielding to conflicts. The main goal of learning Tai Chi today is to gain the Tai Chi philosophy and to promote good health. This is an on-going, multi-level beginning class with two or more groups. It will take several class sessions to learn the forms. There are both class and group learning activities. You’ll have opportunities to interact and practice in your level group. It is encouraged to help each other in group activities and to practice with a partner outside classes. If you want to refresh your life, lift up your spirit, or try something new and good, sign up for the class!

You'll learn to identify 15–20 medicinal plants native to the Rocky Mountains, pick up key identification tips you can carry into every future hike, and reconnect with the natural world in the process. Science, movement, and the quiet joy of botany all in one morning.

- Feng Shui Basics for Home & Office

Feng Shui is the art of arranging your environment to enhance the quality of your life. Energy needs to flow gracefully, without blocks. This class is designed for the average person, where one learns how to easily apply the principles of Feng Shui to their own environment. We'll use the Chinese Bagua Map and the Five Elements on students' own floorplan to create harmony. We'll take the mystery out of this process, making it fun and easy. Students leave with tips and tools to easily apply to every room in their home. The result is improved energy flow in their environment via use of simple changes.
