In partnership with Arapahoe Community College’s Workforce & Community Programs, the Colorado Jazz Ambassadors program is dedicated to nurturing young talent in the Denver Metro Area. This program offers middle and high school students of all musical skill levels the opportunity to enhance their musicianship and deepen their appreciation for jazz. Designed as a supplementary experience to a student’s school band, the Colorado Jazz Ambassadors requires participants to be actively enrolled in their school’s band program (with the exception of homeschool students). We strongly encourage all members to honor their commitments to school-sponsored music activities.

The ACC Wind Ensemble Band is open to all wind, brass, and percussion players looking to make music in a welcoming, community-focused environment. Rehearsing Wednesday evenings, this ensemble brings together credit-seeking students and community members to explore and perform outstanding wind band literature. Whether you’re brushing off your instrument or continuing your musical journey, the ACC Wind Ensemble offers an engaging and rewarding experience for musicians of all backgrounds.

The ACC Jazz Ensemble I is open to anyone who plays a traditional big band instrument and wants make music in a welcoming, community-focused environment. Getting together on Thursday evenings, this band brings together credit-seeking students and community members to learn and perform jazz standards as well as newer tunes. Whether you’re dusting off your horn or continuing your musical journey, the ACC Concert Jazz Band offers an engaging and rewarding experience for musicians of all backgrounds.

Getting together on Saturday mornings, this band brings together credit-seeking students and community members to learn and perform jazz standards as well as newer tunes. is open to all orchestral string players who seek to play in a warm and fun community-based ensemble. Rehearsing throughout the summer on Monday evenings, this group allows string players to polish their skills while playing in small group settings: trios, quartets, etc. Perfect for anyone looking to for a chance to shine in a more intimate setting or to explore the musical literature of string chamber music
