In this class students will learn drawing and painting skills to help them complete their own painting of their favorite animal's face on a wooden ornament. This could be a bear or a beloved cat, dog, or other family pet. Each student will get to take home two painted ornaments. Come and make a custom gift for someone special!
Appropriate for all skill levels.
Please note that there are both adult (13+) as well as youth (ages 8-12 years) classes listed, and to register for the appropriate age group.
All materials and tools will be provided, but please bring a clear, closeup picture if you have a specific animal you would like to paint.
Please bring an apron or wear clothing that can get dirty.
Clases takes place at Arbutus Folk School, 610 4th Ave E, Olympia.
For youth classes, parents please plan to arrive 5-10 mins before each class to sign your student(s) in. Students also need to be signed out before leaving.
For students enrolled with OASIS, this class may qualify as a CBI for your arts learning. Please contact us at info@arbutusfolkschool.org to make arrangements for your student.
