Ages 16 and older
This project is perfect for weavers who have mastered the basics and are ready to procced to the next level.
The pinwheel star pattern is typically woven on an 8-shaft loom but, with finger tip dexterity and the use of a pick-up stick, you can create pinwheels on your rigid heddle loom. The process is a lot of fun as you can see the pinwheel pattern developing as you weave. You will use two colors of cotton yarn to make your piece of art. By the time the towel is completed, you will be ready to warp up your loom to make another one!! This pattern is guaranteed to challenge you to your fullest!
This two day course is appropriate for intermediate level weavers, ages 16 and older.
Students must bring a tapestry needle, scissors, and 2 colors of yarn, with cost of about $12 per skein. The instructor recommends either Cascade Pima Cotton or Berroco Pima Cotton.
