Join Terry Vanderpham as she takes you on a culinary adventure and delves into Viet Nam’s most important celebration, Tết (Vietnamese Lunar New Year). You’ll learn all about this annual celebration and experience an authentic Vietnamese meal, and one of Terry’s favorite traditional Vietnamese dishes! Thịt Kho Nước Dừa Với Trứng (Pork belly and eggs braised in coconut juice), is always served for Tết, but is also a popular comfort food eaten year round.
This class takes place in the historic Byrd House, in the downtown Olympia area, and is a special opportunity to celebrate the Lunar New Year. This is also a rare opportunity to experience this class at a discounted rate thanks to the generous support of Northwest Heritage Resources.
All ingredients are provided. Bring an apron if desired, and plan to share a meal and a drink at the culmination of the class. The address will be sent to all registered students prior to the class.
This folk & traditional arts workshop is supported with funding from Northwest Heritage Resources, a Washington state cultural non-profit organization. Thank you!
