Learn about cement as a medium and turn something industrial, utilitarian, and gray into colorful artwork for your yard.
In this beginner level course, you will learn how to prepare surfaces, create the appropriate mix of cement, form and unmold your project, and apply colored cement and glass stones while making a beautiful 28" fish themed bowl. Once sealed, the bowl may be displayed against the side of your house or a tree or fence or used as a bird bath.
This course is suitable for everyone. No prior experience is needed. All materials, tools, and equipment are provided. Please bring an old apron and wear clothes that can get dirty - short sleeves or sleeveless tops are best as you will be mixing cement.
