Inspired by the British television phenomena, The Great Pottery Throwdown, participants will be given new prompts each week and given a timeline to complete their wares! Each prompt will be accompanied by an instructor demo where they will discuss the approach, techniques, and considerations needed to complete each prompt. Upon the completion of each set of wares, participants will share their creations with the group where we can collectively enjoy and encourage each others' endeavors. Participants will be making a set of mugs, tiles, sprigged vases, a bathroom set, a small fountain, and raku fired wares! Please note, there are NO eliminations. We are here to have some fun and try some new techniques in the studio!
