Arbutus Folk School is delighted to offer youth craft classes taught by Hilary Morris!
The theme for the September/October session of the Youth Craft Class is 'Little Creatures". We will explore mediums such as clay, felting, and painting to create some of our favorite animals! Bring a photo of your pet or favorite critter to turn into art! Thursdays after school, 3:45 - 5:30.
The theme for November 7-Dec. 19 (skipping Nov 28 for Thanksgiving) is making gifts ~ There's nothing better than a handmade gift! We will explore different mediums such as clay, felting, paper crafts and more to create perfect gifts for everyone on your list, and one or two special items for yourself as well!
Six-week sessions allow the opportunity to create within several mediums, with at least 5 take home projects. Students are encouraged to return for future sessions to create more! Ages 8-12 are welcome; we look forward to sharing these beautiful handcrafts with our young community!
