In this intermediate 2-day blacksmithing class students will learn the processes involved with making a pair of tongs, a walking chisel, a hammer and a round punch. If time allows material will be available for making other chisels and punches that are common in the blacksmith’s shop. The class is intended for students who have a bit of forging experience under their belt already or have taken a beginning blacksmithing course before. The goals of this class is to teach students in a laid back, fun positive environment the techniques involved in tool making for the blacksmith shop.
