TELOS - Geology of National Parks - I   NEW!

TAs of 2019, there were 58 Parks and 119 Monuments, designated as being worthy of protection and preservation because of the spectacular, & often fragile, geologic features they contain. The Parks listed below will be examined as they display the following geologic features & processes: Sedimentary rocks - Weathering & Erosion - Coral Reefs - Paleontology.National Parks: Arches - Bryce - Canyon Lands - Capitol Reef - Carlsbad - Mesa Verde - Grand Canyon - Mesa Verde - Mammoth Caves - Petrified Forest - Virgin islands - Zion. Monuments: Cedar Breaks - Grand Staircase=Escalante - Natural Bridges - Rainbow Bridge - Oregon Caves - Jewel Cave - john Day - Dinosaur.
