TELOS - Having Fun with Computer Based Genealogy   

This is an introductory class where you will learn how to research your ancestral families using censuses, tax records, city directories and historical newspapers. You will be introduced to online sources such as Google, Ancestry, FamilySearch, the Library of Congress and Cyndi's List as well as many others. We will work on improving our online search queries and learn how to effectively use wildcards in searching databases. You will also learn about the many free databases available at local archives and libraries and how you can access many of them from home.
