TELOS - Introduction to Buddhism   NEW!

The teachings of Buddha, called Dharma, are easy to understand yet extremely profound. Buddhist philosophy helps us understand our various states of mind and how to overcome those that cause suffering. Participants in this class will learn simple meditation techniques and how to incorporate basic Buddhist teachings into their meditation and daily life, transforming negative state of mind into more positive outlook.There will be an opportunity for a field trip to visit Kadampa Meditation Center in Seattle for those who wish to participate.
