Meditation & Introduction to Buddhism    NEW!

The first Buddhist teachings were given by Buddha over 2,500 years ago, yet they still resonate today. The solutions to our human problems – such as anger, jealousy and discontent – are the same today as they were centuries ago. In this class, we'll discuss essential principles of the Buddhist way of life and explore ways of gently training in meditation and mindfulness. With these tools, we can overcome unpeaceful states of mind and tap into our potential for lasting happiness. Taught by Gen Khedrub, a western Buddhist monk for over 20 years and the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Washington.
