The Peace Arch at bathe U.S./Canada border at Blaine WA is inscribed 'Children of a Common Mother. Never have two births been so different or resulted in such divergent democratic realities. This course will examine aspects of the historical development and governing structures of Canada, which differ from those of the U.S., and have resulted in separate outcomes. We will use these differences to address the nature and quality of democracy and necessary conditions for it to flourish.Tuition includes Printing course material cost.
