TELOS - Principles of Flight NEW!

How do birds fly? What makes airplanes stay up? How and when did bird flight evolve? Come explore the principles of flight in three classroom sessions: the mechanics and physics of flight, with hands-on experiments; the evolution of bird flight; and flight adaptations of modern birds. Class includes a possible field trip to the Marymoor model airfield (weather-dependent), where enthusiasts will demo their planes and tell us how airplanes imitate birds.
