TELOS - Franz Kafka's short fiction   NEW!

We will read and discuss examples of Kafka's shorter works including Metamorphosis, the Judgment, and In the Penal Colony. Kafka, a Czech who wrote in German, is one of the major fiction writers of the early 20th Century, known for the strange premises of his stories. Students should find a selection of his stories that includes the three titles listed here. They should be easy to find in used bookstores and from the libraries
