PMP Exam Preparation  

The Project Management Professional (PMP) Exam Preparation course is an online, instructor-led course designed to help students prepare for the PMP exam.

  • Recognize how the PMP Exam is developed and what is tested
  • Comprehend key terminology used in the exam
  • Describe project life cycles
  • Describe how organizational structure impacts projects
  • Identify influences used in selecting project
  • Calculate key financial indicators needed to justify project selection

The Project Management Professional (PMP) Exam Preparation course is a 10-session curriculum designed to help prepare students for the PMP exam. This instructor-led version of the program offers students the opportunity for a comprehensive review of project management tools, processes and techniques set as the standard by the Project Management Institute (PMI). In addition, students are exposed to web-based study tools and can complete practice test questions and sample discussions on topics directly related to the knowledge areas measured by the certification exam.

This instructor-led, synchronous course meets online twice a week at a specified time.

The Learning System for PMP(R) Exam Preparation reading materials and online study tools by CertWise (provided). In addition, "A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK(R) Guide)"-Sixth Edition is required (student responsibility to purchase).

Online courses require an internet connection and the ability to interact both through audio and video using either a web cam/microphone, speakers/headset using a computer or via a mobile phone connection. Any costs associated with connectivity or equipment are the responsibility of the student
