TELOS - WW2 Internment of Japanese Americans    NEW!

This course will be an in-depth examination of one of the most shameful periods in American History – the internment of American citizens of Japanese ancestry during World War II, with a focus on the social, political and economic factors resulting in this policy, as well as what life and conditions were like for those who were unjustly confined. We will also attempt to draw parallels between the internment and other mistreatment of select groups in our past and present.
