Introduction to Digital Photography: Practice, Practice, Practice

A digital cameras is a computer. And just like a computer the capabilities are enormous, but similarly there is a learning curve and it can be steep and seem a bit overwhelming. And just like a computer, a key is learning what portion of those capabilities - and learning - you need to satisfy your needs. We will explore the settings on a digital camera you need in manageable bites - and practice all along the way with rewarding weekly assignments. The results will be posted on Flickr.com outside of class for feedback and shared live in our Zoom sessions along with our lessons on different settings. All you need is any digital camera, a free Flickr account and a computer with an internet connection to post to and view Flickr and join our Zoom sessions. (Instructions for Flickr will be provided before the class starts.)
