Explore how to design websites to provide an optimal online experience with easy reading and navigation.

Competencies:

Craft websites that provide an optimal viewing experience - easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning and scrolling - across a wide range of devices (from desktop computer monitors to mobile phones)
Create layouts on a flexible grid, as well as responsive navigation, adaptive images and media queries

Skilled web designers are adept at crafting sites to provide an optimal viewing experience — easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling — across a wide range of devices (from desktop computer monitors to mobile phones). Course topics include creating a layout on a flexible grid, plus responsive navigation, adaptive images, and media queries.

Prerequisite:

HTML and CSS: Level 2 or equivalent
