This is a survey course designed to introduce the student to the business of real estate, terminology, laws, practice, financing, contracts, government control, valuation, and opportunities as a vocation.

This 60 hour course introduces real estate to the student who wants to purchase real estate or who wants to participate in the real estate industry as a vocation. This course is designed to provide an overall introduction to the real estate industry including all aspects of property rights, government controls, the purchase and sale of property, financing and the financial marketplace, property valuation and the many roles and opportunities in the real estate market.
