For students who have taken four quarters of German or the equivalent. The focus is on speaking and listening comprehension. Topics include writing a letter, asking for and giving directions, understanding timetables, and expressions of time. Introduction to the modal auxiliary sollen, local and temporal prepositions, Konjunktiv II, and verbs with prefixes.
