The Renaissance is a period in European history marking the transition from the Middle Ages to modernity and covering the 15th and16th centuries. It was a period of fervent cultural, artistic, political and economic "rebirth." Students will discover the birth of the Renaissance, the historical context, and how it plays an essential role in science, math, art, literature, architecture and archeology. The Renaissance witnessed some of the greatest thinkers, authors, statesmen, scientists and artists in human history and discover how they thrived during this era.
