Creative Nonfiction

Students will analyze, write and edit creative nonfiction stories tying together their experiences by interpreting short stories from around the world. Students will relate personal experience and background knowledge to connect and reflect on these texts. This course will apply classic writing techniques such as analysis of symbolism, action, topic and theme.
