American Drama: Eight Great Plays   

Students will read and discuss eight thought-provoking plays written by four of America's greatest playwrights, beginning with "Beyond the Horizon" and "Desire Under the Elms" by Eugene O'Neill, followed by "A Streetcar Named Desire" and "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" by Tennessee Williams, then "The Crucible" and "Death of a Salesman" by Arthur Miller, and finally "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" and "A Delicate Balance" by Edward Albee. All of the plays will be available online.
